Box Foot Clarification

There seems to be some confusion as to the size of the cove on the box foot,   the total foot is 1 -3/8 tall, and 2 -3/8 long, the cove is approx 3/4 to 13/16 , wide  and approx 1/8 deep,  there is a 3/16 base of the foot below the cove,  and we used a 1/2 radius round over to round over the top of the foot .

We will get an end profile up on Monday …

be safe and have a good weekend, hope those boxes are coming along,   we should have the tops  and raised panel video up on Monday,  then we will have one more video for the handle, secret bottom, and lid closure moulding , and discuss the finishing, that will conclude the box build,

Be safe ,Catch Ya Later

Wait a minute… I thought a foot was 12 inches! You say it’s 1-3/8 inches? What kind of fuzzy math goes on the the Charles Neil Workshop… 🙂

    Hi:
What happened to the second Foot profile for the Box?
What is the thickness of the bottom of the main box?
I guess those Oyster you ate in NC finally got to you and you did not show up for work today. I have two quarts of fresh shucked Oysters in the Frig.

    • Monte, been right here, had dentist appointments, and so forth, also filming more on the box, we will get patterns up today or tomorrow, , it all takes alot of time and work, more than most realize

      Box bottoms are 1/4

  5. bob says:

Monte, I made the bottoms for your boxes to 1/4″ thickness. That is what they are suppose to be. bob
