Tense Moments

well we got our first show done , had a few tense moments as it didnt start when it should bu Ken and Sherri got it going, if you dont know its best to start the show and then just pause it for 10 or 15 min to let the stream get ahead so you dont get and stopping and jerking  ..or at least thats what im told…the show thus far has gotten good reviews

Well tomorrow I am heading to Pennsylvania to deliver the Chippendale desk and go By Good Hope hardwoods… looking for some curly cherry , and looking for material for a special show project ..and who knows what else i might “just have to have”….going there is like a kid in a candy store… price is slightly different..but man they got some nice stuff….. I will take the camera and see what we come up with….

well finally today i am getting the news letter finished, between coats of finish on the desk, ( just the bottom), been a long hard week, looking forward to getting out of the shop this weekend….well best get to writing and spraying…..see on Monday

Congratulations on the show last night. You covered a topic that you don’t hear much about. I discovered how to make a story board when I got your DVD on the Pencil Post bed and I have been making one for every project that I have built since. Sure makes things go a lot easier and allows you to design a piece the way you want it and not be limited by a set of plans.
I also liked your theme song, it really fits you.
Looking forward to next weeks show.

  2. Thanks Mike, thats what its about , the real stuff, none of the watered down, easy stuff, but the real meat and taters of it all…

Charles, just wanted to say awesome show last night!

You apologized during the show several times that some of us may have been bored, now worries it was awesome, now I wont have to waste my money buying plans from the internet! I leanred alot.

The hardest thing about all of this is having to wait until next Thrusday to see the next show 🙂

    Keep up the excellent work!

If any of you reading this have not subscribed to this show you are really missing the boat. Anyone that is serious about learning this craft needs to check this out! the cost is Peanuts compared to what most of us spend on magazines in a month.

    Mr. Neil,
I love reading your blog, and have been looking forward to these shows you’ve been talking about, but I haven’t had much luck finding where they are located. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?
